At BBM Charity Shops, our purpose extends far beyond the sale of secondhand items. We stand proudly in support of the Basadi Ba Moshito Foundation, an organization dedicated to empowering women who have survived domestic violence. Founded by Antoinette Maluleke in 2021, the BBM Foundation was born out of Antoinette’s personal journey of survival. After nearly losing her life to her abuser, she faced a bleak and uncertain future as a single, unemployed mother. Through sheer determination, Antoinette rebuilt her life and provided a stable, nurturing environment for herself and her daughters. The BBM Foundation was established to fulfill this dream, providing not just support, but a lifeline to women who feel devalued, hopeless, and powerless.
BBM Foundation is committed to empowering women, young ladies, and girls from all walks of life. Through our advisory services, mentorship, and tailored personal development programs, we aim to uplift and inspire those who have experienced the devastating effects of domestic violence. Antoinette and the foundation’s team believe that every woman, no matter her past or present circumstances, possesses greatness within her. By offering guidance, practical training, and emotional support, BBM helps these women move from survivors to thrivers, overcoming their past and embracing a future of strength and success.
